November 16, 2011 11:24 am | Updated 11:24 am IST - Thrissur:

Government Chief Whip P.C. George should have avoided the remarks against Congress MLAs V.D. Satheesan and T.N. Prathapan, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said.

He was talking to reporters after the passing-out parade of the India Reserve Battalion at Ramavarmapuram, near here, on Tuesday.

Politicians should keep away from controversial remarks and actions, he said.

The Cabinet would discuss the report on farmer suicides in Wayanad on Wednesday. The shortcomings in the Wayanad Package would be rectified soon, the Chief Minister said.
