NTTF students to participate in Tokyo quiz contest

Four students and two faculty members of the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) at Thalassery have been chosen to participate in the International Convention of Quality Control Circle competition to be held in Tokyo on September 25 and 26.

The students are Akash K.S., Anoop T.K., Sreekumar Sreedharan and Vishnu P. Senior Training Officer Shijin T.P. and Sutheesh Jyothi would accompany them, a press release issued by the NTTF here said.

The initial selection for the Quality Control Circle, Southern Region, was held in Coimbatore in which 360 companies and educational institutions had participated.

Gold medal

The NTTF is the only institution to win the gold medal at the competition, the release said.

The NTTF had been selected to represent the country at the national-level convention conducted by the Quality Circle Federation of India in Gwalior, the release added.

In the educational institution category, more than 1,200 members from all over the country had taken part in the competition, according to the press release.
