V. Vineesh has been elected president and Sachin Dev secretary of the Students Federation of India (SFI) State committee.
Vineesh and Sachin, SFI Thiruvananthapuram district secretary and former Kozhikode district secretary respectively, were elected by the 33rd SFI State conference, which concluded here on Sunday. The meet also elected Adash M. Saji (Kollam), M.S. Sarath (Idukki) and Shilpa Surendran (Ernakulam) vice-presidents, A.P. Anveer (Kannur), V.P. Sarath Prasad (Thrissur), K.M. Arun (Kottayam) and S. Ashitha (Alappuzha) joint secretaries. The meet elected a 17-member State secretariat comprising, apart from the main office-bearers, Ambili (Kasaragod), Sakeer (Malappuram), Jobison (Wayanad), Aiswarya (Palakkad), Vishnugopal (Pathanamthitta), Krishnaprasad (Kannur), Sangeeth (Thrissur), and T.P. Rahna Sabina (Malappuram).
