A new collective for women in Malayalam cinema was launched under the banner of Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) on Saturday. The move to form a new body for women artistes and technicians comes almost a year after the formation of the Women in Cinema Collective. The new forum has directors, scriptwriters, choreographers, make-up artistes, costume designers, hair dressers, dubbing artistes, associate and assistant directors.

A core panel led by dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi will chalk out its future course of action.
