The 700-odd NCC cadets taking part in the combined annual training camp got first-hand information on Sunday on the fire extinguishing and rescue techniques. The cadets learnt the use and operations of fire extinguishers and rescue equipment, actively taking part in a demonstration held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Periye, where the week-long camp is being held.

R.K. Ramesh and P.K. Prajeesh took classes on various fire extinguishing and rescue techniques. Lt. Col. A. Rajeevan handled a personality development class and provided vital tips on preparing for interviews.
