N.K. Premachandran, the UDF candidate and sitting MP of Kollam, is all set to launch a crowdfunding drive to finance his election campaign.
The facility to contribute to the fund will be functional from March 18 through an SBI account following all the guidelines of Election Commission.
“We decided to launch crowdfunding efforts, as so many people including ordinary labourers and pensioners came forward expressing their willingness to donate money. This is a very transparent method and we want to meet the expenses through this,” said Mr. Premachandran in a statement.
