Kozhikode-based Alchemy IAS Institute will conduct a model test for the upcoming Civil Services main examination for those who have passed the preliminary examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in June.
The registration is free and the test could be written either at the Institute or at their homes. Those who are availing themselves of the second option will be sent the question papers by e-mail. The written answer scripts should be scanned and mailed back.

The examination will be held between September 23 and September 25. Morning session is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Afternoon session is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Papers covered will be Essay, General Studies (4 papers) and Malayalam. The organisers said this model test would be a guide to understanding the pattern of the question papers and that it would help the aspirants manage their time better, apart from boosting their confidence and writing skills. The results with specific inputs for each aspirant would be announced on September 26.
