Minor reshuffle of State bureaucracy

The Cabinet on Wednesday carried out a reshuffle of junior Civil Services officers, even while giving key postings to seniors who would be reverting to the State after a stint with the Centre.

Accordingly, Anand Singh will take over as Kerala State Transport Project director, with additional charge of Public Works Secretary and Food Safety Commissioner, on his return.

Incumbent IT Mission director Sivaram Sabhasiva Rao has been appointed Kozhikode Collector replacing U.V. Jose, who has been shifted as Land Revenue Commissioner.

Incumbent Kollam Subcollector S. Chitra will assume charge as IT Mission Director and will hold additional charge of IKM director and nodal officer of e-Niyama Sabha. S Chandrasekhar, currently Thalassery Subcollector, has been appointed as Director of Employment and Training, with additional charge of the Kerala Academy for Skills and Excellence managing director. Afsana Parveen will be the deputy secretary for the Economic and Planning Department, with additional charge of Housing.
