MG varsity opens online window for UG courses

The online registration for the undergraduate programmes offered by Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) will begin by 2 p.m on Wednesday.

Applications can be submitted through the online window till 4 p.m on May 27. Candidates can carry out the online registration through the link UGCAP 2019 on paying a registration fee of ₹750.

The provisional ranklist and trial allotment will be published on May 30.

The university will come up with the first allotment on June 6, followed by the second allotment of June 15.

Those applying through various quotas should submit a copy of their online application to the colleges concerned by May 24.

Seats have been reserved for applicants from the Lakshadweep islands in all the colleges.

Provisional rank list

The provisional rank list for the reserved seats will be released on May 25 while the verification of documents will be carried out on May 27 and 28.

Help desks have been opened in all affiliated colleges for the applicants.

57,009 seats

As many as 57,009 seats are available for undergraduate programmes in affiliated colleges of the MGU in the new academic year.

Of these, 32,264 will be filled through the centralised allotment process (CAP) conducted by the varsity.

As many as 22,852 seats are under the management quota, while 1,893 seats figure under the community category.
