A lecture series and a seminar on protection from ozone depletion will be organised by the National Green Corps unit of the AVS Government Higher Secondary School at Karivellur here on October 10 and 11.
A press release announcing this here on Wednesday said the objective of the programme is to communicate the importance of ozone layer in the atmosphere to support existence and continuity of life on earth.
P. Harinarayanan, scientist at the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, will inaugurate the function at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday. Experts will speak at the function.
