LDF’s list of candidates for district panchayat

The Left Democratic Front (LDF) has finalised its seat-sharing process and candidate selection for all the 16 district panchayat divisions in Pathanamthitta.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) will contest in nine seats while the Communist Party of India will be contesting in three seats. Janata Dal(S), Nationalist Congress Party, and the Kerala Congress (Scaria Thomas) will be contesting in one seat each.

The CPI(M) and the CPI has decided to field a common candidate, Rathikala, as an Independent in Malayalappuzha.

The CPI(M) candidates with the district panchayat divisions are given below:

Mallappaly: S.V. Subin, Ranni: Susan George, Chittar: P.S. Mohanan, Pramadom: Karthika, Kodumon: R.B. Rajeevkumar, Enathu: Sathikumari, Kulanada: Sujatha Prsasannan, Elanthoor: Nirmaladevi, and Koipram: Jessy Raju. The CPI candidates and the divisions allotted for them are:

Anicaud: Manoj Charalel, Konni: M.P. Maniyamma, and Pallickal: T. Murukesh.

The Kerala Congress(Scaria Thomas) will field Jayadas in Ranni-Angady; JD(S) will field Alex Manappuram in Pulikeezhu; and the NCP will field Mathew George in Kozhencherry; according to the LDF district convener, Alex Kannamala.
