: The special convention of the Janadhipathya Samrakshana Samithy (JSS – Rajan Babu faction) on Monday re-elected A.N. Rajan Babu and K.K. Shaju as its general secretary and president respectively.
Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, Mr. Babu alleged that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) had been cheating JSS founder K.R. Gouri, who had conveyed her interest in merging with the former.
According to him, the proposal was put forth by the CPI(M) in order to divert focus from the various issues that affected the party. Mr. Babu criticised Ms. Gouri for “having surrendered her principles.”
