The Alappuzha District Revenue School Arts Festival began at Haripad on Tuesday. It was inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Haripad, the main venue of the event.
Actor Navya Nair was the chief guest at the function.
Around 6,000 students are participating in the four-day festival.
On the inaugural day only a handful of competitions were held.
The festival is being conducted following a green protocol. It will conclude on November 22.
