Independent service of Rajya Rani expresses from today

Amritha Express timings too revised, to start from Trivandrum Central at 8.30 p.m.

Providing big relief to the long distance train commuters in Malabar region, the regular independent services of Train 16349/16350 Kochuveli-Nilambur Road-Kochuveli Rajya Rani Expresses will commence from Thursday.

Consequent to the introduction of the independent service, Train 16343/16344 Thiruvanathapuram-Madurai-Thiruvananthapuram Amritha Expresses will bypass Shoranur Junction from May 9.

From Thursday, Train 16349 Kochuveli-Nilambur Road Rajya Rani Express will leave Kochuveli at 8.50 p.m. to reach Nilambur Road at 7.50 a.m. the next day, according to the Railways.

Train 16350 Nilambur Road -Kochuveli Rajya Rani Express will leave Nilambur Road at 8.50 p.m. to reach Kochuveli at 6 a.m. on the next day. The trains will have AC 2-Tier Coach-1, AC-3 Tier Coach-1, Sleeper Class Coaches-7, Unreserved Coaches-2, Coach for Differently abled-1 and a Luggage-Cum-Brake van Coach.

From May 9, the Railways have also revised the schedule of Train 16343/16344 Thiruvanathapuram-Madurai-Thiruvananthapuram Amritha Expresses. The 16343 Thiruvananthapuram-Madurai Amritha Express will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 8.30 p.m. to reach Palakkad Junction at 6.10 a.m, Palakkad Town at 6.48 a.m, Pollachi Junction 07.55 a.m, Palani at 9.28 a.m, Dindigul at 10.58 a.m. and Madurai at 12.15 noon the next day.

Train 16344 Madurai-Thiruvananthapuram Amritha Express will leave Madurai Junction at 3.15 p.m. to reach Dindigul Junction 4.08 p.m., Palani 5.13 p.m., Pollachi Junction 6.45 p.m, Palakkad Town 8 p.m., Palakkad Junction 8.25 p.m, Ernakulam Town 00.05 a.m., Kollam 3.45 a.m, Varakala Sivagiri 4.05 a.m. and Thiruvanathapuram Central at 5.50 a.m.
