IIT student’s death: YC stages protest

Youth Congress activists staged a protest in front of Calicut University on Thursday demanding action against those responsible for the death of Fatima Latheef at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.

The protest named “Death Knell” was taken out under the banner of the Youth Congress Malappuram parliament committee.

Parliament committee president Riyas Mukkoli inaugurated the protest. P. Nidheesh presided over the function. Latheef Koottalungal, Sreeshan Koleri, Anvar Aroor, K.V. Husain, A. Piyush, Riyas Kallan, and Lijit Chandran were among those who spoke.
