: A flash strike by the Joint Trade Union Action Council attached to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation on Tuesday affected the functioning of the corporation depots in Thiruvalla and Ranni.

Rajesh, KSRTC conductor attached to the Thiruvalla depot, had been allegedly assaulted by a private bus owner and his three employees. The strike was called off by 12 noon with Revenue Divisional Officer A. Gopakumar informing the employees union leaders that ‘the three accused had been arrested by the Ranni police.
