A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Friday ordered the authorities concerned to ensure that there will be no interruption in performing Pettathullal at Sabarimala by the Ambalapuzha Yogam with identified participants.

The Bench comprising Justice P.R. Ramachandra Menon and Justice N. Anil Kumar passed the order on a petition filed by the Ambalapuzha Ayyappa Bhakta Sangham seeking to hold Pettathullal without any interference, in the backdrop of the recent incidents at Sabarimala. Pettathullal would commence from January 6 from the Ambalapuzha temple and reach Pampa on January 13 and then proceed to the Sannidhanam. When the petition came up, counsel for the petitioner submitted that the particulars of the devotees taking part in Pettathullal by the Ambalapuzha Yogam would be furnished to the SP, Pathanamthitta, forthwith.
