DCC meeting seeks action against leaders

Differences over disbanding of bank director board

An emergency meeting of the District Congress Committee (DCC) and the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office-bearers from the district here on Friday demanded disciplinary action against party leaders including KPCC general secretary P. Ramakrishnan ‘for their actions that cast aspersions on the party.’

The meeting was convened in the wake of the rift in the district leadership over the disbanding of the director board of the Pallikkunnu Cooperative Bank here. The DCC leadership submitted a detailed report to KPCC president in this regard.
