The project, funded by the local development fund of Eravipuram MLA A.A. Azeez, was inaugurated on Thursday by the college manager and SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan.

Principal Sherly P. Anand said that the college was enlisted as a partner of the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity Programme. The project is being taken forward in association with the Water Resources Department.

The inaugural function marked the launch of solar lamps, a biogas plant, and an incinerator on the campus. SN Trust treasurer G. Jayadevan and Kollam SNDP Union secretary N. Rajendran were present at the inaugural function.
