The annual Kottarakara convention of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church will be held at the Pulamon Christian Centre at Kottarakara from January 18 to 25.
General convener of the event Fr. K. Varghese said the convention would be inaugurated by Metropolitan of the Kollam diocese Zachariah Mar Anthonios.
Metropolitan of the Adoor-Kadampanadu diocese Zacharias Mar Aprem will deliver the benedictory address. The convention will be addressed by Niranam Metropolitan Yoohanon Mar Chrysostamus on January 19.
The session will be presided over by Kottarakara-Punalur Metropolitan Yuhanon Mar Theodorus.
Various spiritual programmes connected with the convention will be held on all days.
Dr. Theodorus will be the chief celebrant of the holy mass on the final day.
