The Crime Branch team probing the Koodathayi serial murder case has recorded the statements of the relatives of Jolly, the prime accused, and an astrologer she had apparently consulted. Prior to her marriage, Jolly stayed at Vazhavara near Kattappana. The family then shifted to the vicinity of ITI Junction, Kattappana, and the CB team reached there around 8.30 a.m. on Monday. Till 12 noon, the team quizzed her parents and three brothers regarding her academic qualification and childhood days. Astrologer Krishnakumar told the team that he did not remember whether Jolly and her husband had met him. Regarding an amulet he had apparently given to her, the astrologer said he needed to be shown it to verify it.
The team also inspected the documents related to her academic years, 1988-90, at MES College, Nedumkandam. The addresses of her classmates were collected.
