The TKM Institute of Management (TIM), in association with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), has set up a business incubation centre for entrepreneurship development on its campus at Karuvelil, near Kollam. Industries Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty will inaugurate the centre on June 16. TKM College Trust chairman T.K. Shahal Hassan Mualiar will preside.

The incubation centre intends to focus on non-IT sectors with specific focus on entrepreneurship, skill development, and mentoring, thereby enabling students with the right aptitude and abilities to boost their entrepreneurial skills. The centre also aims at catering to the varying needs of entrepreneurial incubation in different business stages across a variety of sectors.

The TKM Institute of Management in association with the KSIDC is organising a two-day workshop, Entrepreneurship Development for Young Graduates, on Monday and Tuesday as part of the launch.

Experts from various organisations will handle the sessions.
