Says CPI(M) will face setback after Lok Sabha polls

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] will have to face the biggest setback in history after this Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has said.

Speaking at a meeting held here on Saturday to review the election campaign works in Kollam, he added that despite both the ruling front and the Opposition trying to destroy the party, the BJP would win many seats in Kerala.

“The strength of the party is its workers who have braved all challenges. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proved that the public is the master in democracy and this time many lotuses will bloom in Kerala,” he said.

BJP district president G. Gopinath presided over the function.

National Democratic Alliance candidate in the Kollam Lok Sabha segment K.V. Sabu, State secretaries C. Sivankutty and Raji Prasad, and treasurer M.S. Shyam Kumar were present.
