Cine actor Bhavana got married to Kannada Producer Naveen in a traditional ceremony attended by close relatives and friends at Thiruvambadi Temple here on Monday morning.
The ceremony was followed by lunch and reception at Jawahar Convention Centre in the city. Her close family members and friends from the film industry including Ramya Nambeesan, Manju Warrier, Lena, Sayanora, Bhagyalakshmi, Shamna Kasim and Rachana Narayanankutty attended the function.
Another reception was held at Lulu Convention Centre in the evening.
Clad in a golden saree, matched with temple jewellery, Bhavana looked stunningly beautiful and happy. Celebrity make-up artiste Renju Renjimar groomed the bride. Naveen wore traditional veshti.
In a brief media address, Bhavana and Naveen thanked all who stood with them.
Earlier, teaser of Bhavana’s Mehendi ceremony released on social media had created a lot of buzz. Bhavana and Naveen got engaged in a private ceremony in March last year.
Started her career in ‘Nammal’ directed by Kamal in 2002, Bhavana has acted in all South Indian languages.
