Aneesh murder: team collects evidence

The Crime Branch team inquiring into the murder of Students Federation of India Idukki district vice-president Aneesh Rajan has begun taking evidence from the accused. The team, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police K.G. Simon, on Thursday visited the areas in Nedumkandam where the crime took place.

On Wednesday, the Crime Branch team interrogated Youth Congress Nedumkandam West mandalam president Arakkaparambil Abhilash and his brother Roopesh in connection with the murder. They also took statements from their parents.

The court had ordered that the accused should not enter the Nedumkandam police station limit, except for questioning.
