The film actor who was abducted and attacked recently has said she may move legally against those making baseless allegations against her.

She was responding to an alleged remark by an actor that she and an accused in the abduction case, Pulsar Suni, were friends and she should have been careful in choosing friends.

She said the actor’s remark upset her. “My conscious is clear. I am not afraid of anybody. I will face any investigation. Like everyone, I too want the culprit to be brought before the law. The truth should be revealed,” she said in a statement here.

Tight-lipped on case

The actor said she desisted from talking to the media about the incident on a request by investigating officers. The police had said public discussions would negatively influence the case.

“I am sharing the remarks as there were many reports on the issue in the media. There were rumours that we reached a settlement, which is not true. I will go ahead with the case strongly,” she said.

She said she had full confidence in the ongoing investigation.

“I had shared all information with the investigating officers. Many names are coming up in connection with the case. I have not mentioned anybody’s name in the social media. I don’t have any evidence to tell whether they are involved or not in the case,” she said in the statement.
