Soofiya Maudany approaches court to relax bail condition

Soofiya Maudany, an accused in Tamil Nadu bus burning case in 2005, on Monday approached the NIA court here seeking relaxation in her bail condition to visit her husband and PDP leader Abdul Nasser Maudany, an accused in the Bangalore blast case, who is now in custody with the Karnataka police.

Soofiya filed the petition seeking permission to leave Ernakaulam district to meet Maudany at Bangalore.

The NIA court had earlier relaxed her bail condition thrice to meet Maudany at Kollam.

The petition has been posted to Wednesday to hear the NIA.
