BJP general secretary Ram Madhav has urged Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to rein in CPI(M) cadres who “are unleashing violence against BJP workers.”
“Let us have ideological debates, not violence. Our aim is constructive constitutional politics,” Mr. Madhav said, addressing media persons here on Thursday to brief them of the BJP’s outreach programme in 200 towns and cities. Mr. Madhav held that the BJP could not be cowed down by violence.
Political violence unleashed by the CPI(M), when it was in or out of power, against those who were not in line with its thinking was a major issue, he said.
