Rain occurred at isolated places in Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.

According to meteorology sources here, Kannur and Thalassery recorded 1 cm rainfall each. Punalur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree celsius. Kannur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 24 degree celsius.

Maximum temperature rose appreciably above normal in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram district.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 18, rain or thunder showers will occur at isolated places in Kerala and mainly dry weather will prevail over Lakshaweep.
