Rain occurred at isolated places in Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.

According to meteorology sources here, maximum temperature was appreciably above normal in Kozhikode district. Kannur, Karippur airport and Kozhikode recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36 degree celsius.

Forecast valid until the morning of May 17, rain or thunder showers will occur at a few places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep, outlook no significant change.
