Numismatist sets record

: Abdul Hakkim, a philatelist and numismatist, has set a record in collection of currencies of different countries and gained entry into the Limca Book of Records.

He has a collection of currencies belonging to 382 countries. It includes 191 world currencies of existing nations, 166 dead nations and colonies, 25 island nations and overseas territories.

Mr. Hakkim is the secretary of Kayamkulam Numismatic and Philatelic Society. He has conducted several exhibitions within and outside the country. — Special Correspondent
