Kerala to appoint panel on milk prices

The Kerala Cabinet on Monday decided to appoint an expert committee to submit recommendations on revision of milk prices.

Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan told the media after the Cabinet meeting that the committee would look into fixing of the prices in tune with the production cost. It would be headed by Additional Chief Secretary P. K. Mohanti.

The Chief Minister said that the committee would be asked to submit its report in a month.
