Kalimuttam, a three-day drama study camp for children

‘Kalimuttam’, a three day State-level drama study camp for the children between the age group of 10 to 17 year old will be held at the Technical High school Auditorium at Mananthavadi in the district from 26 April to 28 April, the organisers said in a release.

The camp is being organised by the Chilanka Floating Theatre of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy in association with Pazhassi Library, Government Technical High school, Mananthavadi, Gurukulam College ,Dwaraka and Edavaka Grama panchayat in the district.

Experts will lead classes on various aspects of the modern theatre in the camp, the organisers said. Education Minister M.A. Baby will participate in the concluding ceremony of the camp.

As a part of the camp ‘Bharat Murali Natakotsavam, a drama festival to commemorate Malayalam actor Murali, will be staged on 28 April, the organisers said.
