Binu Pazhoor appointed CEO, Cyberpark

Binu Pazhoor has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cyberpark, the third IT hub in Kerala coming up at Kozhikode.

Mr. Pazhoor was in the US for the last 12 years where he served as director of strategic planning at Fiserv, a financial services firm based in Houston, Texas. He was also the founder and CEO of a US- based management consulting firm.

Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St.Thomas, Minneapolis, he is also a certified project management professional.

As CEO of Cyberpark, Mr. Pazhoor will be responsible for the development of infrastructure, marketing and promotion of IT parks in Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargode and the development of other initiatives supporting the functioning of the parks.

Commenting on his assignment, he said, “My plan is to develop an eco-friendly state-of-the-art facility for Cyberpark with all modern amenities promoting a greener Kerala and preserving the traditions of the state”.

The Cyberpark project is the third IT facility under the hub-and-spokes model adopted by the Government to promote IT parks in the state. Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram and Infopark, Kochi, are already functional.

Cyberpark envisages the development of IT parks at Kozhikode and the Special Economic Zones approved at Kannur and Kozhikode.
