12-year old boy drowns in Kasaragod

A 12 year-old boy was found in a tank near his house at Badiyadka in Kasaragod on Thursday. The boy was identified as Ashok, son of Krishna Naik, at Kollankanam under the Badiyadka police station limits. The boy had been missing since Wednesday evening.

The body was recovered from the panchayat tank near his house by Fire and Rescue Service personnel on Thursday morning in a search after his cloths were found near the tank. The boy was suspected to have drowned while he was swimming in the tank, the Badiyadka police said.
