Journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmed Kazmi, in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the terror attack on an Israeli diplomat, has moved a bail application in a court here. The bail plea, moved on Thursday, will come up for hearing on Saturday.

Mr. Kazmi's lawyer, Gajender Singh, said he was moving for bail as the Delhi Police had submitted that it had finished interrogating the journalist while seeking his judicial remand.

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police got custody of Mr. Kazmi for 20 days on March 7, but on Saturday last, handed over his custody to the court, which then sent him in judicial custody for two weeks.
