Yoga camp for railway staff

The Railways has taken to ayurveda and yoga to promote productivity and reduce stress among its employees. A release said a special camp was conducted for nearly 100 employees of the Mysuru Divisional Office here on Thursday.

The camp was inaugurated by G.S. Ramachandra, Chief Medical Superintendent in-charge, South Western Railway Hospital, Mysuru, and Asha Sebastian, specialist in ayurveda and Somesh, Mukhya Sikshak, Pathanjali Yoga Sikshana Kendra.

Dr. Ramachandra said yoga and ayurveda are expected to help employees to de-stress thereby reducing the number of accidents and improving productivity.
