A group of women, including members of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Swarnasandra here on Tuesday.

The group of women cleaned several streets in the locality with brooms and shifted the dirt in buckets and other materials. They removed hundreds of waste polythene covers, used water bottles, tobacco covers and other waste materials and dumped them in a garbage bin at Swarnasandra.

The SKDRDP members said they cleared piles of garbage under the Swachh Bharat campaign.

Shwetha, Shobha, Savitha and Geethabai were among those who led the campaign.
