Will stick to UGC norms: KSOU

The Board of Management of the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in Mysuru, which met on Friday, unanimously resolved to comply with the directions of the UGC and the Department of Higher Education, Bengaluru, on the issue of derecognition of some courses. It was decided not to “confront” the regulatory agencies and stick to Karnataka while offering its programmes, besides running only UGC-endorsed courses. Vice-Chancellor M.G. Krishnan said, “Whatever the UGC and the Higher Education Department has directed, will be followed in toto.”
