Rentongo is another company that offers bikes on rent through an Android mobile app. Included in the menu are the Harley Davidson Superlow and the Street 750. Everyone takes a deposit, but you get different options. “We do not require a cash deposit,” says Mr. Anil.

The Transport Department is trying to consider the implications of such companies and is looking to frame guidelines, which will ensure the safety of people who take bikes on rent.
