A 45-year-old man died on the spot after a private bus collided head-on with his two-wheeler near Bandenahalli in Madhugiri taluk of Tumakuru district on Monday.
The police said that the deceased has been identified as Eranna (45) of Nallahalli in Madhugiri taluk.
A case has been registered in Midigeshi police station.
Tractor driver killed
A 39-year-old tractor driver was killed on the spot near Lakkasandra in Turuvekere taluk of Tumakuru district on Monday.
The police said that the deceased has been identified as Vishwanath (39) of Gaarepalya. He was going to plough his field in the morning when his tractor fell and rolled into a big pit beside the road near Lakkasandra. He was killed on the spot as the tractor fell on him.
A case has been registered in Dandinashivara police station.
