Two farmers commit suicide

Two farmers committed suicide in the district on Wednesday. Rajgond Chandrappa (26) hanged himself at home in Madagul village near Chitaguppa in Humnabad taluk. He had taken loan of Rs 2.4 lakh. He owned two acres of land and had three dependants.

Omkar Channashetty Patil (48) hanged himself from a mango tree in his farm in Belakera village in Humnabad taluk. He has 10 acres of land and four dependants. His loans exceeded Rs. 20 lakh from various banks, family sources said. Tahsildar D.M. Pani and other officials visited the spot.
