Transferred

Senior IPS officer Harrishekharan has been appointed chief of Bengaluru traffic police. R. Hitendra, who was holding the charge, has been transferred but not given any post yet.

Ajay Hilori, DCP (East), who had drawn much ire from residents of Indiranagar and Koramangala over action on illegal pubs and music events in the area, has been transferred and Rahul Kumar Shahapurwad has been posted as DCP (East). Mr. Hilori has been posted as Commandaent, First Battalion, KSRP, Bengaluru.

The government has also posted K. Annamalai as DCP (South), transferring out Sharanappa. However, Mr. Sharanappa has not been given any posting yet. Harish Pandey, who was SP, Cyber Crime, has been posted as SP, Chikkamagaluru, to replace Mr. Annamalai.
