The city police has barred entry of vehicles from Albert Victor Road (stretch from Chamaraja Circle to Hardinge Circle) to Mirza Road for 90 days from June 1.

According to a note from the Police Commissioner’s office, vehicles coming from Albert Victor Road should take left at Hardinge Circle and enter Bengaluru-Nilgiri Road (that passes Lido talkies) before taking a right on Malai Mahadeshwara Road (Chatri Mara Circle).

Vehicles can proceed on Malai Mahadeshwara Road and take a right on Guest House Road (that passes Siddhartha Hotel) and take left on reaching Hardinge Circle to enter Mirza Road, Police Commissioner B. Dayananda told The Hindu .

Traffic restrictions have been placed on account of the work on installing the statue and also owing to the work on upgrading the storm water drain at Hardinge Circle, MCC Commissioner C.G. Betsurmath.
