Suryakanth Talawar, his wife Tarabai Talawar and son Devappa Talawar, all from Ivani village in Chittapur taluk, Kalaburagi district, were given life-term imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 each by the Kalaburagi Sessions Court for murdering Devendrappa Talwar of the same village in June, 2014.
While 3rd Additional Sessions Judge B.S. Nayak heard the case, Balabheema Madansure, public prosecutor, argued for the victims. Circle Police Inspector Sharif Ismail had probed the case and filed the charge-sheet.
