Three out of the four Congress MLAs, who abstained from the legislature party meeting, replied to notices issued to them.
The party has issued show-cause notices to B. Nagendra, Umesh Jadhav, Mahesh Kumatahalli, and Ramesh Jarkiholi for not attending the CLP meeting last Friday.
Mr. Jadhav, Chincholi MLA in Kalaburagi, has not yet provided an explanation for the notice, said former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after a meeting of the coalition coordination committee here on Thursday.
Mr. Siddaramaiah said he had gone through the reply provided by Mr. Nagendra and he had expressed his loyalty to the party.
The former CM said he had not yet read replies given by two other legislators.
