Three differently-abled couples tie the knot at mass marriage


Three couples tied the knot at a mass marriage ceremony for the differently-abled on the premises of the National Blind Welfare Organisation in Tumakuru on Sunday.

The association organised the mass marriage for differently-abled couples as part of its 11th anniversary celebrations. M. Dhananjay, one of the grooms, told The Hindu: “I’m happy to marry Sindhu K.G. on the premises of the organisation in which I have worked for a few years.”

Jyothi Ganesh, MLA, S. Natraj, Deputy Director of Women and Child Welfare Department, and friends and relatives of the couples were present at the wedding.
