Malathi B. Shetty is missing since June 24.

A person, running a software firm in the US and a native of Korgi village near Kundapur, whose 65-year-old mother went missing from the village on June 24, has now launched a website www.mommissing.org to trace her.

The website contains all details of his mother Malathi B. Shetty and when she went missing from Korgi and the efforts made by the engineer Satish Shetty.

In a press release issued here, the software engineer said: “I am requesting for public support to trace my missing mother. Please share the news in WhatsApp and social media groups. I hope this (social media) will help to spread the word. It has been 45 days and there is still no news about my mom. My father’s health is also started deteriorating.”

Rs. 1 lakh reward

Mr. Shetty had on July 30 announced a reward of Rs. 1 lakh for anyone providing credible information to trace his mother. He had said that the award would be provided even if the person was working in police department. The identity of the person would be kept confidential.
