SWR’s bid to improve passenger amenities

The Hubballi Division of South Western Railway will host a series of activities, including interaction with railway passengers, inauguration of completed projects, a drive to check catering and other services, during Rail Yatri Upbhokta Pakhwada, a fortnight-long programme.

SWR Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Mittal on Tuesday inaugurated the programme aimed at improving passenger amenities, and customer facilitation, and creating awareness about achievements of the railways during the preceding year.

He said the focus of the programme would be on making the rail travel more comfortable and useful.
