Participants – both students and parents – at The Hindu EducationPlus Career Counselling session at Basavarajeshwari Public School and College auditorium here on Saturday, were overjoyed as they could clear most of their doubts over selection of a course of their choice and online CET counselling process. “We gained a lot of information about the avenues and opportunities in the field of professional education and also about the process for online counselling. Now, we can guide our daughter properly to choose the right course that suits her best,” Usha Venkatesh, a homemaker, said.

“The lecture on online counselling process, the care that we [parents and students] had to take was very apt and perfect and very helpful,” Geetha, an employee in the Life Insurance Corporation of India, who participated in the session along with her son, said.

“After attending the session, I got to know about a wide range of courses available after PU exam and how to make an informed choice of a career that suits the student,” Chaitra, a student, said.

Anusha and Rekha were among other students who expressed similar views.
